The SIEF Summer School 2016 "Trusting Resistance. New Ethnographies of Social Movements and Alternative Economies"

The SIEF Summer School 2016 will take place in Tuebingen in southwestern Germany from July 24-30. The Call for Applications is now online here (SIEF website) and here (Facebook)
The theme of this year's summer school is "Trusting Resistance. New Ethnographies of Social Movements and Alternative Economies". We would like to bring together PhD students and early postdocs working on contexts of protest, activism, alternative lifestyles, critical consumption, and resistance in all its forms to talk about their work and place a particular focus on the issue of trust and mistrust. But there will also be plenty of time for socializing and enjoying long summer evenings in the hills of the Swabian Jura.

You don't have to be a member to apply. Deadline for applications is March 20th.
