Cultural anthropologist and ethnographer. An adjunct at the Institute of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology of the University of Warsaw, graduate of a doctoral program at the The Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR) at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Polish Academy of Science, and Fulbright scholarship holder at the University of Hawaii in Mānoa in Honolulu. She conducted research in Poland, Lithuania and French Polynesia. Her research interests are focused on blue humanities, anthropology of water, Polynesian ethnography, indigenous peoples activism and post-colonialism. She has also collaborated on cultural and community projects with NGOs and museums in Poland (ex. Museum of the History of Polish Jews POLIN), India and Belgium. The author and leader of the National Science Centre grant titled: "Experiences of water excess, water deficit and water’s balanced presence. A study in Blue Anthropology." 2021-2024.
