Radio Luxembourg, a small yet incredibly influential phenomenon of the 20th century, reached over 100 million listeners across 60 countries at its height. For many, Radio Luxembourg was a secret companion under the covers at night, a bridge to freedom during political oppression, and a cultural beacon in times of uncertainty. During this presentation, we will explore how a small nation like Luxembourg became the beating heart of a station that connected the world.

The meeting will be held in English (no translation will be provided, however presentations will be partially translated into Polish). The number of places is limited. Participation is possible upon confirmation of registration, sent to: varsovie.mgdl@mae.etat.lu [2]

*The research project Radio Luxembourg – The station that changed our world (www.radio.lu [3]) tells the fascinating history of this multilingual radio station that transcended borders, offering music, culture, and news to generations during some of the most politically and culturally turbulent times in history.
