PhD student

Ivan Posylnyi, born September 27th 1994 in Luhansk, Ukraine, sociologist, PhD candidate at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. A graduate of Applied Sociology at the Karazin National University (Kharkiv, Ukraine); MA in Sociology at the Graduate School for Social Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, Warsaw. His main research interests include Russian aggression in Donbas, as well as Ukrainian national identity in soviet and post-soviet contexts and after the Revolution in 2014. His current research focuses on national identity in Donbas self-proclaimed republics.
